The Bazaar
Award winning Chef José Andrés is the centrepiece to Bazaar’s success, reworking old world Spanish cuisine into innovative modern dishes full of flavoursome tricks for the palate, in the heart of Beverly Hills. The main dining room, Rojo y Blanca, is playfully decorated in deep reds and blacks with deep wingback leather seating and fresh white linen. The cooking is full of equally strong contrasts, blending a taste of traditional cured hams and Escalivada, with modern American overtones like the bagel and lox cone. Building on Spain’s tapas ethos, the small plates are meant for sharing. For medium foodies you can book a seat at the chefs’ food bar and watch the prep in action: for serious foodies José Andrés’ SAAM tasting room will be where you need to head. The exclusive dining room is all about the tasting menu and here you can sample the best of Andrés’ cooking paired with some exquisite wines for a mere $275 per head. Plutocrats, directors and the remaining supporting cast can then round off the meal with cigars and liqueurs on Bar Centro Terrace in the Beverly Hills evening sun.
