The College Hotel
With its broad corridors, rich fabrics, comfortable furniture and contemporary chic design it’s well worth a stay at the College Hotel in the classy residential area of Oud-Zuid. The hotel was built as a high school in 1895, and is currently run by interns from various hotel schools across the country. It can mean service isn’t quite as slick as might normally be expected, but generally, guests shouldn’t notice. And if you calculate a bit of extra time and patience, the College Hotel makes for an excellent stay. Rooms are great value, but extra services like bike rentals, breakfast and internet use feel over priced.
