There is only one golf club in Beirut, since it’s not the most popular sport in this part of the world – hence the Golf Club of Lebanon’s relatively exclusive and somewhat colonial atmosphere (also owing to its almost 90-year history). Located near the airport, it is, however, one of the biggest stretches of green in the city with 18 decent holes. For those not so interested in rubbing the green, tennis, squash, a swimming pool and a billiards and bridge room are also on offer.
