Recently reopened after renovation by London-based Wilsdon Design Associates, who currently handle all Hyatt design globally, The Grill restaurant is visually stunning. WDA have made great use of the restaurant’s original 30 foot pillars, wonderful cornices and ceiling roses and have come up with an almost edible design in shades of chocolate and cream that is at once warm
and inviting and toweringly impressive. Service is top-notch and the menu, as befits the main restaurant in the Hyatt estate, is also a perfect example of what a high-end grill restaurant should offer – a pared down list of classic grill dishes, prepared to perfection. Beef is sourced from Nebraskan Black Angus herds, there is a good selection of seafood, all the right salads and sauces and a short, but carefully chosen list of New and Old World wines.
