As well as Olsen’s works, this example of Sydney art galleries exhibits the work of a stable of other emerging contemporary artists like Rex Dupain, Martine Emdur and Fiona Greenhill. Its popularity and expansion since 1993 saw the move to new premises on Jersey Road in the upmarket suburb of Woollahra, into a white mansion, which has much more room for exhibits and is spread out over two levels. Works by overseas-based artists are also exhibited in a bid to promote a dialogue between Australian art and its international contemporaries.
