Set just off stylish Marylebone Road, Trishna offers up South Indian cuisine as you’ve never seen it before. Exposed brick walls and modern minimalist décor are a far cry from curry house aesthetics and provide the perfect blank canvas for a show-stopping Michelin star menu of refined, perfectly balanced small plates, ideal for sharing. Head Chef Karam Sethi brings elegance and flair to traditional recipes, reinventing classic dishes using British seasonal ingredients and contemporary flavour combinations. Try the mouth-watering Chargrilled Wild Tiger Prawn or succulent Lamb Chop with kashmiri chilli, ginger and mustard mooli, before finishing up with a portion of fragrant Cardamom Kheer. Better yet, if you opt for the seven course Koliwada menu each plate comes paired with a different wine, especially selected by sommelier Sunaina Sethi to compliment the intricate flavours of the dishes – perhaps not the most common accompaniment to Indian food but one which works dangerously well…
