The legendary Vegas restaurant serves cool California cuisine in a beautiful dining room designed by Adam Tihany, creator of Aureole’s enormous wine tower, and is adjoined by a more casual café. The food here is outstanding, featuring upscale twists on comfort favourites like smoked salmon, caviar and crème fraîche pizza and pancetta-wrapped meat loaf with garlic-mashed potatoes served in the café. The menu also features sophisticated entrées like soft-shell crab with shrimp risotto, veal sweetbreads, roasted black bass and teriyaki-glazed red snapper, served in the main dining room. Be sure to leave room for the decadent caramel fudge tart or the warm melting chocolate cake for dessert. You’ll need a reservation for the dining room, but not the café.
