A self-proclaimed ‘cave of hedonism’, the Yoezer wine bar has for over fifteen years set a new standard in bistro-pubs. Inspired by French cuisine and emboldened by the London gastropub revolution, the Jaffa establishment sought to combine the best of both worlds, creating a fusion of high-end gastronomy with the lively atmosphere of the city’s nightlife.

Hidden away in a winding side-alley, the bar inhabits a wonderfully preserved ottoman-era structure, characterized by its thick stonewalls and high arches. Minimal lighting, mostly emanating from tabletop candles, complements the dark wooden furnishings. The menu of rustic French-inspired cuisine is highlighted by some of the country’s most respected steak dishes, as well as a selection of the day’s seafood catch from the nearby port.
